MORE AND MORE

The Bible says, '...With God, all things are possible..." I state that MY God is faithful.....

1/16 I was coming home from picking my car up after routine maintenance. While going through a intersection a car came in front of me and I could not miss hitting it. I am waiting to hear if the car will be totaled. I have been looking on line for a replacement and so begins more
car payments, perhaps. BUT GOD, is still faithful! Having just finished the last payment on this car in November, I have NOT committed those funds to anything else.....so I have that much per month. (I will look for a lower payment.)

School is progressing nicely. I always have one class that is challenging....so be it.... we have some very immature 6th graders.....lots of re-teaching opportunities.

DECEMBER >>>>>>>>TO A NEW YEAR

The month of December is gone and now is another new year....they do seem to go faster each year.

School will begin with a new bunch of kids in all my classes. That will be good. Sometimes a semester is too long. I will also have an Advanced Class and I am looking forward to developing some new more challenging projects. They do an extended Research Project--3 sources, Outline, first draft and Power Point presentation. I want to get the best ones to be presented in the Social Studies classes.

Molly is now finishing her 3 round trip at Sea. It is great when she gets to Hawaii because she can call on her Cell. She was in the open Pacific avoiding a storm with 14 foot waves on Christmas Day. They were welding generators down to flatbed trailers to keep them from rolling around. They headed straight south out of San Diego and it took another day to hit Honolulu. Her supervisor will be coming in January to CA and prayerfully, he will let her remain on the JeanAnne for the rest of her trimester.

Emily and Giles celebrated their FIRST Wedding Anniversary.....time is moving faster and faster. The Colorado All Service Academy Ball was held at the Broadmoor here. They attended the Ball with me and I treated them to a night at the Broadmoor. This Ball honors ALL the Service Academy Cadets and Midshipman. That includes West Point, Naval Academy, Coast Guard Academy, USMMA, and Air Force Academy. It was fancy and enjoyable. Just wish that Molly could have attended. She was announced as 'being at Sea, but her family is here to honor her tonight'. Last year's we missed because of the Wedding...it was on the same night. She will be able to attend her Senior Year and then as a Alumni.

God will be as FAITHFUL this New Year as He has been throughout the years.....WHAT A PROMISE!!
